SCMA is seeking experienced Montessori educators to serve as verifiers for our Verification Project! As a verifier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Montessori schools across the state meet essential standards that define high-quality Montessori education.

Verifier responsibilities include reviewing school-provided documentation and conducting on-site visits to confirm the implementation of Montessori principles. Verifier's must have at least three years of classroom experience at the level they are verifying.

Verification Project Overview

The goal of the SCMA Verification Project is to give participating schools the opportunity to demonstrate that they include the essential standards of a Montessori school. These SCMA threshold standards were determined by the SCMA Verification Project Committee representing Montessori educators across the state and were approved by the Board of Directors in May 2017.
